Code: Select all

the Latest Cumulus MX release - v3.0.0 build 3043 Jan 20 2017. See this post for download
link above points to

https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.p ... 19#p122519

and

https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.p ... 08#p101008

there will be tons of URLs within the forum posts pointing at https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/

Freddie will have to change them all. probably via a sql script on the database.

Well done, Freddy and Steve!

Steve has released the source for Cumulus MX — that, and the other files from Sandaysoft.com/download are available on the Wiki at

https://cumuluswiki.wxforum.net/a/Software

The announcement link could be changed to reflect the new distribution point.

Best regards,
Ken

Yes, I will do that. Thanks for pointing it out.

There is a redirect bouncing clicks to the new location, so I can do my SQL replace properly (i.e. run it on my test database first :-) )

Thanks to Freddie et al, who have made this happen. It is so appreciated by all us user's. It's also good to know there are so many GOOD people left in this world!! Thank you all.....

The pages seem to load very slowly for me....about 20 seconds to populate. The old Forum was instant....just my observation
Thanks again....

In my initial load it seemed a bit slow, and for a search quite a bit longer and doubted that it was working. But search did come up and then afterwards all, including search, was much faster. The same or close to before.

Enjoy,
Paul

Seems to load ok for me. YSlow figures show the site needs some tweaking.

I'm open to suggestions (apart from using a CDN - a bit pricy!) Answers by PM, please.

Is the server UK based or is it just the domain name?

It's exceptionally slow for me. Pages taking more than 10 seconds to load, even hitting the reply button took circa 10 seconds to bring this edit box up. :(

The only difference between the two is the use of cookies. Both require database access, so it isn't that.

cron.php?cron_type=cron.task.text_repar ... 54296136fc

That is showing up as very slow.

Does your host respond to pings? I'm getting 100% packet loss when I try. The slowness of this forum has become slightly unbearable for me. It reminds me of a DDoS attack.

For me the forum may be slightly slower than before, maybe 2 to 3 sec to load some pages. Most are the same.

Enjoy,
Paul
