I am afraid it is one of the new Fine Offsets that has no logger and only updates details to WU and is NOT supported by Cumulus.

I asked this on the facebook group Ambient Weather Network User's Group. Ed Edelman "No but we developed an API. I am sure the author could easily figure it out. Just email him."

is there any way I can help facilitate this?

Have a look here https://claydonsweather.org.uk

It might give you a few ideas of how to use your direct connect Ambient device with weather software. Its not Cumulus, but it is using a WeeWX generated Cumulus format realtime.txt file to populate a popular website template designed to be used with Cumulus.

I got one with a second display console on the way. Cumulus was last updated on 11/28/2014 and Cumulus MX was last updated on 1/20/2017. Maybe Steve will update Cumulus MX for these new consoles where a computer can access the weather data on the network and log the data. That would be cool.

I wonder if there may be a workaround possible. If you send your weather data to WeatherUnderground, there is a XML feed. Maybe it could be pulled every 5 minutes into numbers to be logged by Cumulus MX. Here is one for a local airport:

http://api.wunderground.com/weatherstat ... sp?ID=KUIN

Replace "KUIN" at the end with whatever WU weather station ID or METAR code you want to use.

I got my Ambient Weather WS-2902A all hooked up today. It does just as well as my old Ambient Weather WS-2095 in terms of all measurements, and it does way better in terms of not needing to replace Energizer Lithium batteries. I usually have to do that on the WS-2095 every 3-4 weeks whereas the WS-2902A has a solar cell and capacitor and only uses the batteries as a back up. It claims the batteries last up to 2 years :)

I am hoping we will get a Cumulus MX that supports this weather station as it is VERY POPULAR according to the reviews on different websites including Amazon:

https://smile.amazon.com/Ambient-Weathe ... ll_reviews

Not to sound mean, but I doubt this will happen as presently this website may go away so why have Cumulus/Cumulus MX? Both served their purpose well, and it was awesome that Steve made these programs and currently has this website, but I think we are at the point where Old Yeller has been tied up to the tree:

https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17108

Saratoga-Weather.org has templates to make your own weather website which has support for the WS-2902A:

https://saratoga-weather.org/wxtemplates/install.php (You'll need AmbientWeather.net.ZIP)

The WS-2902A also uploads weather data to:

https://www.ambientweather.net/
https://www.wunderground.com/
https://www.weathercloud.net/
https://www.pwsweather.com/

Ambient Weather has an API for the WS-2902A for programmers:

https://www.ambientweather.com/api.html

I like this weather station and highly recommend it as long as you can live without Cumulus.
