Post by daj »

I have a Google Wave preview account and a few invitations to the preview if anyone is interested one. Thought I would share them with my fellow users on here in the hope I can Wave with someone -- I have no one to Wave with yet!!

I too must be missing the point. The interface is quite poor, but I am sure there is a lot of tech going on in the background. It's not helped that I know almost no one with a Wave account so it's very lonely Waving :D

So far it just looks like a sort of email/chat client. I was expecting a real-time whiteboard and that sort of thing. Maybe I just haven't found them yet.

I too was expecting a lot more as part of the preview client, I do really think that the wave protocol and html5 will change online collaborative communication but the current google wave client is a huge let down.

'tis funny -- in the preview video it somehow looked more exciting. Maybe I was taken in by all the glitz and laser light show

I'm an advertisers dream really
