Lovely place. Lovely people. Portuguese language - looks like Spanish, sounds like Russian. Who knew?

Weather? Significantly better than Orkney. Unless you like it stupidly windy, that is, then Orkney is where you want to be, obviously.

Yes, we’ll be spending Christmas and New Year in Portugal, somewhere.

We’re about half way down the coast at the moment, heading towards the Algarve. Maybe we’ll pass the home of the excellent Weatherduino!

Windy? Don't know what you're speaking about! Flat calm and 10-11 degrees, positively tropical 8-) although I do hear we're gonna get a blow about Christmas day. Still, it'll cool the Ba players down a wee bit :D

Would prefer the Portugal climate though.
