Re: gay fox day...
It took me a minute to work it out, but I think you mean "Guy Fawkes". I'm not sure we have any openly gay foxes LOL
Shame you had no time to explore some of what Scotland has to offer -- although right now my station is showing -4.5C so I long for some heat

Scotland is a nice place and has nice people. I want to go back there some day.
In my ears it sounds like fox shold be Fawkes, is it my ear or dialect thats wrong ...
i have been in Largs and kilbimie just sout of Glasgow, there was manny windmills in this area, amazing.
Remember, remember the Fifth of November,
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
I know of no reason
Why Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes, t’was his intent
To blow up King and Parliament.
Three-score barrels of powder below
To prove old England’s overthrow;
By God’s providence he was catch’d
With a dark lantern and burning match.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, let the bells ring.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, God save the King!
have a nice weekend

Yes, Scotland has started to invest heavily in Windfarms and renewable energy. We have recently opened the largest windfarm in Europe. It's really nice. Although some people do not like them, I think they are very graceful.aadal wrote:... there was many windmills in this area, amazing.
