Connection problem with Aercus WS3083

Post by andyman1000 »

Hi, being new to the weather station I wonder if anyone owning a Aercus WS3083 can help. I have set it up following all the instruction and all was ok until a couple of days ago when the base station started to drop the connection with the transmitter to the point now where its become an issue as it is happening regularly. The base station is no more than 10m away from the transmitter. The only change is the weather from sun to rain. Any ideas would be appreciated.

That model needs lithium batteries so if you are not using these on the pole and in console that would be my first suggestion.

Cheers

Thanks yes I have installed lithium batteries as read that in the instruction booklet. Even with those the connection is not reliable at the moment.
