Router Testing Programme ?

Hi

I am very fortune to have BT Infinity 2 Broadband and download speeds over 50mbps and uploads around 10mbps

BUT - I get complaints from other members of the family that the wireless internet drops out and they cant connect either from their mobile phones or laptops.

I have tested my wired setup its a good strength and consistent when tested ( via speedtest.net and BT wholesale test)

Does anyone know of a programme I can run that will check the wireless consistency of my router, say over a 24hr period

I use two free programs from Softperfect

Have a look at NetWorx.

and I also use their product WiFi Guard to see what happening on the wireless network.

you could also look at du meter in the options you can select what you want to monitor Wi-Fi Bluetooth Ethernet local network. any combination of them to see what your speed is as well as totals.

1. Du Meter - coulndt find the section regards wifi ?

2. I have now read there are major problems with BT Infinity 2 !! - so it may not be my problem after all

du meter you need to right click the du meter task bar icon and select options
select filter by network adapters
