Me too - I'm pretty sure it's the first since the new system was introduced. I'm not expecting anything too bad here, probably Force 9 with gusts around 70 mph. It's going to be quite nasty in the Hebrides, though.

Just had some real heavy rain and some strong gusts here, looking at your stats Steve nowhere near what you have had... oh well cancel the gardening for tomorrow.. ;)

It was. :shock:
Highest gust was 98mph here with sustained winds of over 75mph for around 2 hours.
The station at the Eoropie, near the Butt of Lewis, registered a 109mph gust and there was a house up that way that had it's windows blow in and a shed was wrecked in South Uist.
There were also tree brought down in teh Lews Castle grounds in Stornoway.
