Probably a good idea to include that in your location. Stats are fairly meaningless when we don’t know where you are. ;) I don’t envy you living over there with those brutal temps.

A few more records ..

Dew Point: -7.4 °C
Apparent Temp: -8.4 °C
Wind Chill: -7.8 °C

Those sorts of figures are rarer than hens teeth down here on the South coast of England. We've also been put under an amber warning for snow/ice and possibly freezing rain - another rare phenomena.

Possibility of 20cm of snow by Friday, with blizzards likely. The last time that sort of weather occurred here, was in 1978.

More records this morning:

Minimum Temperature: -5.7 °C
Minimum Apparent Temperature: -10.2 °C
Minimum Wind Chill: -9.8 °C
Minimum Dew Point: -12.3 °C

Lowest maximum likely as well.

Very rare for being on the coast of Southern England.

Whilst this morning's wind chill temp was low it doesn't even get close to the all-time record of -13.2°C on 7 January 2010. But who knows. Temp dropping rapidly now and wind picking up.
