I recently bought a new wind direction and anemometer from Maplin if you get both you qualify for free delivery, the build quality not quite as good but work fine.

Thanks for that, Tau.I am fortunate enough to have virtually a spare station, apart from the sender unit & the main console. When a sender failed, Maplin very kindly sent me everything apart from the console, so when the weather clears, I'll get the new stuff up.

Another record low pressure just 6 days after a previous new low.

Lowest Pressure 963.23 hPa at 23:26 on 14 February 2014.

As expected my wind gust record was broken early this morning at 57.1 mph.
