I have added you now to the list, plus the other two messages. Dont forget to have your country in the banner then we know where you are - thanks

To add to your signature you need to do the following
Go to user control panel/ options/edit signature and then insert the link to your banner, you will need to insert it as an image using [img] before and after the link[img] you can also make the banner clickable back to your website.

Paul,
Thanks.

Last night I took the time to read all the forum-entries until now.
Then I found what I had to change in the banner.php, and which fonts
I had to copy from my PC to the website.

I've seen pictures of Aalesund, it looks fabulous. I'd like to live in Norway, and Aalesund is one of the places I'd want to be.

They're doing Norwegian language lessons here on the island now (because of the Norwegian heritage), and I think I might give it a try :)

Now added and welcome - you could be one of our most snowiest places ? - I had a contact in Lesjaskog, not sure if this nearby , I used to enjoy his weather reports in the winter, normally 3-4 feet of snow by January. Sadly he moved to Malta in the summer and has regretted it ever since ! - he used to run the towns weather station.

It's all quote logical, we just keep moving north. I fancy early retirement and taking Santa's job one day.

It's only 350 miles from here to Aalesund.

Had to follow three separate sets of instructions on how to set up PHP5 on IIS on my Win2003 server before I finally found the one that actually works.

If I have it right, my banner should be below (I'll figure out the TT fonts a bit later)...

Brad.

Because of ISP limitations, I have to run my "home" server on a non-standard port (Port 81). I can see my banner (and from work, I just checked), but some people may have non-standard ports blocked. That's be the most likely explanation.
If you go to http://weather.bpsmicro.com, you'll get redirected to my real weather page on my home server. Does that work for you?

Brad.

Okay, the actual "page" at weather.bpsmicro.com is indeed a redirect page that sends you to http://bpsmicro.dyndns.org:81/Weather which *is* working. Not really sure why the redirection isn't working for you. I changed my banner to put the direct link instead of the redirected link. That might help. If not, I'm not sure what's up on your end. :-(
