Greetings Claw!

Your banner gets updated so it's now +1.1C whereas in leafy Cheadle Hulme it's already down to -3.9C. :o Don't anticipate another -11C tonight. Maybe a bearable -8C. The coasts are always the best places both in summer and winter. You just have to watch for salt air on the car bodywork!
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.

Maybe it's the influence of the sea?

We have a moderate covering of snow but last night at -4C was still was our coldest so far. A big factor is probably the fact that we are less than a mile from the sea in 3 directions. You don't have to go far on to the Mainland to get temperature well below that.

David

 The size of your nose is causing me some concern. Can it really accommodate a seagull? Time for surgery perhaps? ;)

Switching to serious mode I've heard about the seagulls that swoop down and pinch ice creams off people. Not good. Time to get the machine gun out! :D
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.
