servere thunderstorm warning for Townsville

Post by Michael_Wright »

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds in the warning area for a short period before moving offshore. Locations which may be affected include Townsville, Giru, Woodstock and Rollingstone.
A wind gust of 109 km/h was recorded in Townsville at 7pm. one of the trees out side my place has been snaped in half and laying on the footpath from this storm wheelie bins have been blowin over as well
