Yes, same here. The ground around the house (I can't call it a 'garden') is very muddy and the dogs keep bringing it in.

I've only just started recording so I can't give you accurate figures for normal rainfall patterns but we've had a lot of rainy days without a break hence the ground is sodden. To give you an idea, our longest dry period in November was three days, in December it was one day and this month we haven't had a dry day yet. The ground simply hasn't had time to drain or dry out.

a local saying in Oban is " if you can see Mull its been raining if you cant see Mull its going to rain" so far Mull has been out of site all this year and must of December.
on the plus side never have to use a hose pipe to water the garden even on summers day (not sure which day it could be this year)
