Looks like tomorrow morning will be the highest wind speeds to us. Not too bad though.

The coast over here may be hit , in my region warnings up to 80-90 km/hr (50 miles) for windgusts starting tuesday evening about 22 hour local time.

I've put the bbq in the garage :D

brrrr ... here still nice & warm at least daytime, people still for swimming for october ... maybe just for tomorrow some heavy rain
Good luck ... apart of course human life, i can see many weather stations for repair
According to news already one people died due to the hurricane

90kph gusts are fairly common here, the wind is falling now. My highest gust today was 65 mph/105 kph, and even that wasn't a particularly extreme event for here. Quite high for October.

My offset (maplin's) station would be off by now, the Davis seems doing good work

The Churchill barriers were interesting this morning - a bit on the splashy side and that was before the wind speed increased. We do get a lot worse here though.
