One fence panel is beyond repair and the ridge tiles on the roof need attention. Other than that no real problems and today was one of the few dry days this year with lots of sunshine.
An elderly man was electrocuted when he was trying to clear fallen branches from power cables. Other than that just a lot of damage across the country and the south still inundated with water. Tomorrow is another washout which won't help unfortunate people whose homes have been flooded.

Almost unbelievably pressure is dropping yet again towards another record low. Currently 964.1 and dropping quickly to the record low of 963.33 set a mere 6 days ago. Met Office reporting tonight this one is the last of the big storms crossing the pond.
Next week we can just look forward to normal Atlantic storms. Oh joy! At least it's mild and unlike many unfortunate people my home remains free of flood water.

My low pressure record has been broken again tonight - 963.2 hPa - looks like it may have levelled off now...

Mark,
Currently 963.5 here but it's only a matter of minutes before the all-time record goes for the second time in a week.
Without doubt we shall not see weather like this again in a hurry.

Major Storm to Hit the UK and Ireland Sunday
The pressure got within 0.6mb of my lowest figure this evening.
The wind gusts at the moment are regularly going over 50mph.
Nature may have saved the biggest of these storms for the last.

It's 960.5 here, and still falling. Flat calm after strong breeze all day, so I guess we are in the 'middle'!
