The Prime Ministerial Debates (UK General Election)
Looking forward to tonight’s prime ministerial debate? Sounds like it could be quite a boring and stilted affair with all the rules the three parties have insisted on. My suggestion is that they should have taken a leaf out of the “Boxing” industry’s book. !: Hold the debates in the O2 Stadium (or s...

Re: Lost Sensor Contact!!
I know you have been using your own software Gina, but what about a temporary reversion to downloading the current data set to Cumulus and/or Easyweather to see if they mirror your problem?

Re: Windows 7 Remote Desktop Question
Just had another go at Royal TS and got it going! Just what I want..... Many, many thanks Steve! However I still have to 'Log Off' on the remote computer to run Cumulus via Remote Desktop .... but I can live with that at the moment

Re: Windows 7 Remote Desktop Question
The only thing I can think of is that you're not running Cumulus under the same user as the one you're logging in as when you connect remotely. But I'm afraid I've now exhausted my meagre knowledge of RDP. I must be nearly there as I'm sitting at my main desktop working with Cumulus via RDT, only I...

Re: Windows 7 Remote Desktop Question
On both machines the login name and details are identical....steve wrote:I don't know, then. I thought Windows 7 only allow a single RDP session per user anyway? You are logging in as the same user? What does the users tab in task manager show when you're logged in?

Re: Windows 7 Remote Desktop Question
Running mstsc opens the desktop but without Cumulus! So it does. It's what I found using Google. Maybe I found the same thing myself previously, which I why I started using Royal TS (which does actually use RDP). Is the machine with Cumulus running Windows 7? I couldn't work that out from your post...

Re: Lost Sensor Contact!!
Gina, I don't know if it has already been suggested, but have your thought of trying to get your weather software program to ignore 'spikes'.

Windows 7 Remote Desktop Question
Remote Desktop is working fine on the three PC/Laptops around our house. But I still have one issue that I can't get my mind around. That is how I deal with the application I will be using daily in the most convenient manner. Basically the situation is as follows: !: I have an older laptop in a remo...

Re: Lost Sensor Contact!!
Getting excited now! Maplins told me on Thursday that my REPLACEMENT Weather Station should be with me on Monday or Tuesday. ...... Another thought on the issue of interference to the wireless signal being the cause of unexpected spikes or anomalous readings. Instead of struggling to find the...
