Re: Annual rainfall reached on 1 October!

Not quite at annual here in NE Ohio. Wet August, dry Sept - will see. Our wettest years were 2017, 2018 and 2020 with over 50 inches of rain.

Re: FTP errors

Interesting - turns out the server had insufficient disk space - at least according to another error message on my Meteobridge system and tech support when I asked for help. The same error started appearing in my CMX logs. I will monitor and see if that resolves my other FTP messages on CMX(?).

Re: FTP errors

FTP logging is not enabled - I did for a short time this morning to see if I could see anything - nothing stood out.

It does appear the files affected are realtime interval files.

Let me try the router reboot.

Re: Wind Speed and Gust data are the same

Well data looks good from yesterday (historic) - maybe that was it, will monitor. Seems it may have been checked/unchecked over time - unsure why.

Re: Wind Speed and Gust data are the same

Will try - whats odd is the data are correct elsewhere (data on the chart for today shows different values for gust and wind speed as expected).

Wind Speed and Gust data are the same

Not sure what I am missing here. I just noticed this on my historic charts. Since around the end of July 2022, my wind speed and wind gust are the same numbers. Occasionally they differ, but not often. http://www.wilsonsweather.host-ed.me/historic.htm#wind It may coincide with my switch from a Davis...

Our temp drop here in NE Ohio. Winds producing windchills of below -20 F and blowing snow. House is popping a bit.

Tempest Rainfall Question

From what I can gather - the Tempest station reports a "raw" rainfall reading and then one augmented by other data that supposedly aligns with average rainfall over a 100 sq foot area. I think Cumulus reports the raw data which differs from a tipping cup like in the Davis Vantage Vue. Is t...

Switching Weather Stations, Retain Historical Records etc.

I recently purchased a Tempest weather station with the intent of "retiring" my Vantage Vue after about 10 years of use. I have the 2 stations set up in the back garden/yard about 8 feet apart so I can gauge how differently they read. I would like to set-up my Tempest on my dedicated weath...

Re: Low Battery Warning - Cumulus Console

Certainly worth a check. It comes and goes and may be related to slight variations in actual/reported battery voltages.
