Re: Removing incorrect data

Steve (? Tomcatuk) to remove the rain today values you can edit the today.ini, and Jan09log.txt (look at the datafile format section in the help file for ref.) out of interest, go to the last line of your Jan09log.txt and see what you are collecting for the total rain counter - the two red values b...

Re: Removing incorrect data

In theory, I ought to be able to write some code to make all this easier. I'm not sure how you would specify what needed fixing, though. The current plan is that Cumulus 2 stores all its data in an SQL database, so making corrections should be much easier. Steve Hi Steve, I just edited the above me...

Re: Removing incorrect data

Start=2.09999990463257 This is the figure (in mm, with some superfluous precision!) that Cumulus thinks the station total counter was at, at the start of the day. It reads the current value from the station and uses that to calculate today's rainfall. The other figures all come from that. If you lo...

Re: Removing incorrect data

As long as you do it before the end of the day, you should just need to edit Jan09log.txt and today.ini (and possibly your all time records if they are affected). Steve Thanks Steve, found the 5.4mm in the Jan09log as it only happened less than an hour ago. Looked in the todayini file I presume I w...

Re: Removing incorrect data

Easiest way to start again is to delete all the files in the data folder. If it was just the all-time high rainfall record that was originally the problem, you could have used the all-time record editor from the Edit menu - or am I misunderstanding. Did you shut down just before midnight at any tim...

Re: Removing incorrect data

I had the same thing last night so before re-installing I cleared the rainfall data from the unit before connecting and stating cumulus, a bit late now for you but helpful if you have to move it again...

Hi Steve you wrote:- The standard pages have fixed names, 'extra' ones can have any extension you want. If you want to make the standard ones PHP, the best thing is to make your own copies. I assume you'd be changing them (otherwise why have them as PHP?) so you'd need to do that anyway? The only re...

Re: dew point big dip

quote="tomcatuk"] Also how about adding a auto start cumulous with windows and an option to minimise at start up. Yes, I'll consider these for Cumulus 2, but probably not in this version. Minimise at startup might be easy to do, though. I'd rather watch at startup to make sure everything's...

dew point big dip

Hi Steve, had cause to turn off the computer and then forgot to restart Cumulus, was off for about an hour, only thing I noticed was the dew point graph took a big nose dive and then came back up again! Also how about adding a auto start cumulous with windows and an option to minimise at start up. G...
