The upgrade check happens when Cumulus is started, and thereafter once a day at a random time (the same random time each day for the same run of Cumulus).

The console won't be involved as CumulusMX takes the time of the readings from the computer it is running on.
Sounds to me like you should be looking at the computer. Is the locale set correctly? Is the current time on the computer correct?

If you're not changing the name of the service or the port or the group then you were correct in that you can just use

What I don’t know is where i get/ or put the -service name flag, nor the group flag. Didn’t see any mention of that! Mark covered that last night in his reply to this topic: CumulusMX v4 can generate a correctly formatted service file for you, for example... dotnet CumulusMX.dll -install -port 8999...

Also LOOP2 is to do with acquisition of data from the weather station, not web uploads.
