Re: Cloudbase CU script ex Bashewa

Thanks Werk_AG & kapo - nice to get some positive feedback. @ Gluepack I have looked carefully at the various files. The ..SA posted does have a blank line after the closing ?> However many of these scripts have that and it does not seem to cause any issues however I usually remove it when I not...

Re: Cloudbase CU script ex Bashewa

I see the script has been downloaded 27 times so far.
Would be interested to know how many of you have it working and how many of you are having trouble.
Thanks

Re: Cloudbase CU script ex Bashewa

Googling the problem seems to imply that the main culprit is white space prior to and post the PHP open and close (<?php ?>) but it is obvious from the content of cloudbase.php that the authors were aware of this. Any other ideas? Indeed there does appear to be some junk or white space before the <...

Re: Cloudbase CU script ex Bashewa

It also seems you have not changed any settings to your local lat/long or metar etc. You override the $SITE variables? I didn't think you did. I don't understand what you mean. the $SITE vars (if set) will override anything set above in the script - this is standard practise in the Saratoga Scripts...

Re: Cloudbase CU script ex Bashewa

@ Will The default settings for lat/lng/tz & metar in the ...SA script posted in this thread are those used by Ray as defaults. Have copied the file you have on your site and apart from the change to the tz, everything, as you say is unchanged. If you check the note on line 269 under the section...

Re: Cloudbase CU script ex Bashewa

Will,
I put your tz into my running script and it works fine. I also remmed out the $SITE[ ]tz as well to ensure your tz was being used - still good.

Others also have this working so I suggest the issue is not with the script (which is not 'mine' anyway!)

Re: Cloudbase CU script ex Bashewa

I am not sure which script version each of you is using - the ..SA script has all the settings I use (except lat/long/Metar). The ...ORG one has Rays defaults. @ Will, If you have tried 3.15, 3.22 and 3.23 and none work then it must be in your site setup somewhere. See you currently have 3.15 instal...

Re: Cloudbase CU script ex Bashewa

OK, As noted above, the script started life a long time back and developed into a WD/VWS/WU/WUHU package when last released by Bashewa. Ray customised it for Cumulus and released it on this forum as ver 3.15. He later released ver 3.22 beta. The version I posted was the next one along at ver 3.23. S...

Hmm,
Didn't see this post until I had responded via the cloudbase thread.
I had intended to email you but posted my request here as I could see you were active on the forum.

Please see the cloudbase thread.

Cloudbase CU script ex Bashewa

OK here it is; This is Ray's (Gemini07620) Ver 3.23beta modifications which are further changes to his previously published ver 3.15 and 3.23beta scripts on this forum. The attached is a complete instal set with Ray's 3.23 script (cloudbaseORG.php) and the version seen on silveracorn.co.nz/weather (...

Re: Thermometer CU script ex Bashewa

@ nitrx Agreed, The one I posted has no credits later then Bashewa's and that has no Cumulus code in it at all. The only differences between that and the one I posted for Cumulus is the addition of the 'realtime' file and its field references. @ Ray, How do you feel about releasing the Cloudbase scr...

Re: Now available: AJAX/PHP multilingual website templates

@ Mark14, I'll have a look at this but it is not nearly as straightforward nor as self contained as the thermometer script. It also originally came from Bashewa but was modified buy others - all for WD - then Ray adapted it for Cumulus. I had some difficulty getting my head around some of the settin...

Re: Thermometer CU script ex Bashewa

Happy it works for you.

If no one else claims credit for the Cumulus customisation, perhaps I will after all! :D
