Re: running old standard website and the new MX website together
I'm doing something similar here, Existing site is http://weather.inverellit.com/index.htm and new site is http://weather.inverellit.com/new/index.htm On the existing site I've also pointed "Now" on the index.htm to the new site with <a href="new/index.htm" target="_blank&qu...

As 1/2 expected Event 42 is already too late....
Event 107 is logged on resume, so maybe it's an option...

Re: CumulusMX Without Exiting
Maybe.... I have a little script that sends Ctrl-C to the MX window to shut it down. I use it in Task Scheduler to Close MX at certain times for backups etc, then start it with another Task. https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=18950&p=150417&hilit=cumulusshutdown#p150417 T...

Re: Missing Data - WLL
You can turn off sleep mode on Windows 10. See if this helps. https://www.hellotech.com/guide/for/how-to-turn-off-sleep-hibernation-mode-on-windows-10 You’ll still need to be wary of updates but they can be controlled better with Pro. Thanks Ray, Yes aware of that & all my systems here run on W...

Re: Missing Data - WLL
MS Decided to Sleep this particular Laptop again last night, following installing some pending updates. To be expected, as this is my morning/evening browsing PC; not a weather dedicated unit. Woke it up, MX not running & Feb22log.txt showed last record as 9:40pm & the DB file stamped 9:42. ...

Re: Missing Data - WLL
Bottom line, there are many things MX *could* do given enough development resource and time, but both of those are limited. First up, that's fully understood & the efforts greatly appreciated. I'm sure all users feel the same way. I think everyone felt a loss when Steve retired, Followed by a h...

Re: Missing Data - WLL
Repeated the same scenario last night. Power outage @ 6:16pm. Resumed around 8:10pm. Things fail at different rates due to mix of network hardware that is & isn't on UPS/Hybrid Power. Test Laptop Sleeps after 5 minutes on Battery. Was woken up after power restored & Network back up & run...

Ecowitt Battery Voltages.
Just notice this in my Diags file. Battery Voltages seem to be reported as very low for my soil moisture sensors (4). Reported as 0.3 Volt, while ecowitt.net shows them as OK. Edit:- I also notice that it lists five WH51's while I only have 4. Ecowitt.net & the Console also only list the 4. Only...

Ecowitt Data Access API's
I'm Assuming you only need 1 pair of API keys even if you have multiple stations on your Ecowitt.net account. Simple testing found I could make multiple keys and initially I thought they were different per station, but on generation a second one for the same station it was different again. Next assu...

Re: Raspberry CPU temp
We got up to 32 degrees inside today and the CPU remained under 50 degrees. I can definitely recommend the Argon One if you're concerned about CPU temp getting too high. My front office can get to around 35°C when it's closed off from the next room with AC. The fan assisted case usually has it sitt...

Re: WeatherLink Live now of interest.
Also, I think I prefer the way Cumulus MX does a catch-up with the WLL. Mine has lost a slab of data about 14 hours wide. Was following a power outage. About 1 hour. Think the key facts are: Power went out taking Wifi & a couple of the six switches down that weren't on UPS power. WLL stayed up ...

Re: WeatherLink Live now of interest.
Interesting read.... My Weather PC has run weatherlink since back in 2016. Scheduled tasks stop CMX twice a day & runs the command line "C:\WeatherLink\WeatherLink 6.0.5.exe -d". The -d switch causes it to just download the latest data then exit without fully launching the app. My data...

Re: Missing Data - WLL
As far as I know.... I'm sure I've left this Laptop off for a few days back in Dec & on starting MX I made a point of watching for the download & it appeared all OK. I don't suppose there is a way to force a re-sync for a given period at this point? It's only test data so of no great issue o...

Missing Data - WLL
Hi All, I've been running a test install on my laptop with WLL since December. Had a power outage yesterday & now seem to have a missing data period in CMX. Last recording before the outage is 9:50 & then the next is 19:50. The outage was around an hour. When I look in the history on WLL, I ...
