3 days running Cumulusmx

Hello again I have now had 3 full days running Cumulus MX and I was thinking that everything seems to be OK. However I can only see graphs for the past 24 hours. Is this normal,? I would have thought I would be able to view the full range. Within Cumulus 1 you could choose periods for graphing! Also...

Re: Go Daddy hosting website

Hi Ray I've signed up with Hey Presto after cancelling my service with Blue Host. I did get a full refund, so it wasn't any trouble. Hey Presto is as you say the cheapest - they send you all the details to get started too. As you have already been down this route with Hey Presto would you mind shari...

Re: 1st time installation Cumulus MX

Hello Mark
Sorry to be a pain! I've checked the data files and I can't see a file called cumulus ini.
Is it the cumulus / cumulusmx settings file? certainly nothing under my data file. :?:

Re: Go Daddy hosting website

Thanks Ray Is that price for web hosting? With Go Daddy I pay £5.99 for the domain, but that maybe just for the Leedsweathercentre.co.uk Good site. Love the way Cumulus displays historical records, which is far better than Weatherlink. My Cumulus1 records are full of errors for some reason. I'm embar...

New host- new website help

Hi I'm relatively new on here after a break of 6 years. 6 years ago, I did get help from the Cumulus community on setting up my website for Cumulus 1. However, I fell out with my host and the website fell by the wayside. I would like to get it back up again using Go Daddy, having purchased the domai...

Re: 1st time installation Cumulus MX

Thanks Mark I will attempt to update my history following your advice. I know there are some spurious records in there but that's my next project- to clean it all up, before I get going on the web updates, which is another area that I'm not familiar with. Hopefully there should be enough on wiki to ...

Re: 1st time installation Cumulus MX

Hi All Seems I was nearly there and my mistake was dragging Cumulus MX to the desktop without creating a shortcut. The program is now accessing my console/weatherlink and showing up to date readings apart from my additional soil moisture and leaf temps.(a) It also doesn't show history -back to when ...

Re: 1st time installation Cumulus MX

Hello everyone managed to put my settings in the respective area and now I find this in the Dos program. Not familiar with altering registry settings and would not want to upset my machine. Any help appreciated! Nothing seems to work for me?? :groan: Thanks for all your help to date. Current culture...

Re: 1st time installation Cumulus MX

This is where I'm up to. Yes Cumulus 1 runs OK and I've not got it running at the same time as CumulusMX. The Application is in my download file- I haven't moved the files anywhere yet, but they have been extracted. The DOS screen is as shown below: It just sits there and stops! Thanks for your time...

Re: 1st time installation Cumulus MX

Sorry- not very good at this type of thing: I have tried to download CumulusMX and I have the associated files in downloads downloads/cumulusMxdist3091/cumulusmx/interface... and I'm looking at a file called mysqlsettings, but it doesn't allow editing or inserting my station details. I'm probably lo...
