Re: Website Trends
No it's not free hosting, I use 123-Reg.
You're probably right, I've just tried renaming units.json to units.txt using filezilla and when I enter the url http://www.shapweather.co.uk/cumulus/units.txt I can access the file.

This one's been driving me crazy, I can't get the trends the display on my website, the page loads but no trends. I've tried it in IE11 and chrome but no joy. I've used the "inspect elements" option in chrome and it says "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of ...

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Yesterday my station recorded a high wind gust of 60.2 MPH but with MPH selected in high wind gusts it is recorded as 41, if I then select km/h 60.2 is recorded there.

Re: BT's Global Sager Weathercaster PHP Scripts For Cumulus
I knew the METAR would report rain as soon as I posted
As I said in my PM to you, I'm a little concerned about the difference in altitude between the METAR and my location being almost 750 ft, that must make a difference.
Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: BT's Global Sager Weathercaster PHP Scripts For Cumulus
I've been using the php version since the 21st but I haven't seen any difference compared to the java one. I think this may have something to do with the METAR station I'm using, the information I've highlighted have never changed apart from when my station has rain and m2 says precipitation. Yester...

Mark
Below is a screen dump of what is uploaded.
As I said above the charts are uploaded but not the "prediction" pics.
The CRTDG is uploading every 15 mins and the error is generated every time, as of now I have 4 errors on the screen!!

Re: Cumulus RealTime Data Grabber - Tool
Hi Mark
I have installed and run the test version, the error message below was generated.
Also the web page is partly updated, the charts are uploaded but the Pics for page updated, pressure at station, rain, snow, fog prediction etc. are not.
May that's what you expected!
