Re: Sanday is having quite the wind event going on!
BTW, I noticed that 50 mph is the highest that this gauge goes.
What happens when the wind goes above 50 mph?

How do you even walk around in those kinds of winds?steve wrote:The wind chill has been interesting, but the wind speed itself isn't that unusual for winter here.

I'm not seeing this. What type of weather instrument do you have?
I just see "Console Battery" on mine.

CDT to CST behavior
Is anyone else seeing a "doubling-up" of weather graphics on their trends graphs due to the time change early this morning?

By the way, thanks for making the change in Cumulus where the the screen now says "Console Battery." That is very helpful.

Re: Battery 0v (Build 957)
Are all your new batteries definitely OK? If only two of them were good, you'd get around 3v. I tried switching to all three new batteries and I still only got 3.14v. I had a spare Vantage Pro2 console and I switched to my spare and sure enough I am getting 4.78v now. It's good to have a spare! I'l...

Re: Battery 0v (Build 957)
No; it's 3x 1.5v C cells, so should be around 4.5V.steve wrote:THX wrote:Right now in Cumulus the battery is reading 3.14 volts. Is this normal?

Re: Battery 0v (Build 957)
I'm getting a "low console batteries" warning. That's a bit worrying. Have a look for the recent thread from another Vue owner who had that problem and ended up getting a replacement from Davis. I opened the battery cover this morning and to my horror a bunch of white calcified chunks fel...

Re: Battery 0v (Build 957)
It's supposed to show the console battery voltage (so should be around 4.5V); it's working OK with my VP2, and I don't see why it shouldn't work OK with the Vue also. Was it working OK before you installed the beta version? I'm getting a "low console batteries" warning. I'll switch-out th...
