Re: wunderground setup

Go to 'Configuration' on Cumulus, then 'Internet'. You then come to the 'Sites/Options' screen. Weather Underground is at the far right. Tick the relevant boxes and make sure you put your WU Station ID and password in (obtained when you join WU). Click OK and Cumulus will start the process for you.

Re: ISS not transmitting

How old is the unit? According to Davis, the battery in the ISS should last for approximately 9 months (depending on the sun/placement etc). I've had no problems with mine, although I've only had it set up for 3 months. Have you changed the battery yet? I'd do this first and hopefully the ISS will w...

Re: New Record? Post here.

A very wet and windy day in Warwick today - Wind gust of 30mph (highest I've recorded in the Town) and rain of 15.4mm, which is approximately half of the average for the month.

Re: replacing my weather station- Davis Pro??

The Davis Pro will do all the things you want.

I currently use the Vantage Vue which is an excellent product, but doesn't have the sensors for the sun etc.

Like most things, you pay more for more quality/reliability.

Re: SteelSeries setup help

Many thanks Steve for your help.

I'm still not sure why it took nearly 25mins for the SS gauges to start working when Cumulus was turned on.

Re: SteelSeries setup help

Hi Julian

Not sure why the realtime was not updating. I was online, possibly editing the site. Trying to work out how to display the wbcam images is proving a challenge!

To make 'forecast' stand out, use <b>Forecast </b>

Re: SteelSeries setup help

Hi Ray Thanks for your help. Yes, I turn Cumulus off at about 9pm. I managed to work out where all the files and scripts needed to go on the server through trial and error. I'm beginning to see how it all fits together now. All good fun though (Warwick is indeed in England)! I'll take a look at the ...

SteelSeries setup help

Hi Didn't want to hijack the other thread on this issue. I'm in a similar position, having downloaded the SS gauges. I've moved the realtimegaugesT.txt and gauges-sst.htm to the Cumulus web folder. I've then set the paths and ticked the relevant boxes in Cumulus. However when I go to the web page I ...

Re: Data logger

If you're not in a hurry, keep an eye on flea bay. I'm sure I've seen the odd one pop up now and again.

I use both Cumulus and WeatherLink (WL, as I prefer some of their charts.)

If you're thinking on buying new, most dealers do bundles where the logger/software is included at a reduced price.

Re: Hosepipe Ban Confirmed From The Start Of April

That's bad news. Hopefully there will be plenty of 'April Showers' :D

The Midlands is also starting to dry out too. Not much rain in Jan or Feb & March isn't looking that good either.

I heard on the news that Scotland may assist - Not sure how, though.
