Re: SebecTec webcam with time-lapse software

If it is Flash based it presumably will not run on iDevices or Android? Just tried beteljuice's test page on my Android phone and it don't work (4.4 = no Flash). This is becoming a problem more & more now, finding a format that works across all browers & devices. What I've ended up with see...

Oh god no!

It might work for your tropical climes, but here, I could only really add the sound of rainfall or thunder ;)

Re: Please try this webcam link on your browser/smartphone..

Ace, wondering if this works for you today?

I've had people everywhere report it's ok - wondering if there is still an issue?

Thanks.

Re: Please try this webcam link on your browser/smartphone..

There seems to be an International fault out of the UK at the moment, confirmed by repeated notifications from HostTracker of site down, site up - International only. I can't see anything obvious wrong though, load from here.

edit - I wonder if the issue is the size of the files?

Re: Please try this webcam link on your browser/smartphone..

Just updated the page with Previous day and current screen shot - all set to autosize as per your suggestion. Intraday auto-plays on Browsers, previous day has controls. Hopefully it won't bog down my server too much - not that it sees huge numbers of views. http://www.westonweather.co.uk/webcam.php...

Re: Please try this webcam link on your browser/smartphone..

ACE2, I'll look at changing my "size" parameters to a percentage. Didn't even know that could be done. Will try it on the iPad, as it seems particularly fussy about what it will and won't play! You can get away with most things in FF, some things in IE and very little in IOS!
