VP2+ Wind Direction flicking to 359 momentarily
OK - I have another issue to go with the UV one in this thread https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7022 What I am seeing is the Wind is flicking to exactly 359 Degrees momentarily (i.e. one read cycle / 2.5 secs) and then back to the predominant direction (which has bee W to E for ...

Re: VP2+ UV Sensor Reading Dropoff - Opinions
Thanks Ray - I understand what you are saying. But I do struggle as to why the sensor would go to zero during the day where the cloud is "scattered". Today was the best day I have had all week with regard to UV readings with the exception that I never started reading UV til 0830 (when Sola...

VP2+ UV Sensor Reading Dropoff - Opinions (Solved)
Hi All, I have installed my new VP2+ station and I feel something is amiss with the UV Sensor. This sensor is mounted about 6 Meters AGL and receives sun from about 0630 through to about 1800 presently. The sensors are mounted on the sensor shelf on the ISS / SIM and plugged in direct with no cable ...

Re: Cumulus 1.9 run as a Windows service
I auto log in with a screen saver password set. After 10 mins the screen save cuts in and password needs to be re-entered to gain access again. If you are paranoid, you could ask the screen saver to cut in immediately on log in (through a start up batch file or something). Yes not as secure as servi...

Re: Realtime gauges v1.0.0.3 available for download
Hi Steve, Thanks for quick reply, sorry for my tardy acknowledgment. Understand, so would it be possible to provide capability to have two links defined. Link1 = http address Link2 = relative address The gauge could try link 1 and if (only if) that fails then try link 2? Just a thought. Cheers Phil

How did you achieve that Lloyd? My guess is you have some custom software writing to the mem location as per Jim's memory map.Lloyd wrote:I have discovered that it can be set to 1 minute, and has been running like that for just under a day.

One vote from me for the light level gauge. Would you have capability to choose between LUX and W/M2 ?mcrossley wrote: What I am going to do is push out v1.4.0 with just an additional UV gauge as that is the most 'useful' item to most people I think and then maybe a light level later - if there is demand.

Re: Realtime gauges v1.0.0.3 available for download
Hi Steve, I there a way to make this URL more relative than the current way. EG http://www.somesite.com/weather/realtime.txt would be nice if I could use /weather/realtime.txt The reason is I run my own web server (not sure how many others do) and when testing inside my router I have to use http://1...

Re: Solar and UV sensors going off line - fix?
Just thinking about this a bit more. If anyone that has a failing unit has the capability, it may be worth while making a power supply unit from a voltage reg and a 6 volt mains PSU and make it adjustable over the range of 2.5 to 3.5 volts. You could then adjust to exactly 3.0 V and put in place of ...

Re: Solar and UV sensors going off line - fix?
Gidday Stephen, Feek, I am more and more convinced that this is a supply voltage issue but I have no idea why my "resistor" mod works because that mod only tricks the solar unit processor into see less light than there actually is. However when I analyse the solar graphs the unit always fa...

Re: SteelSeries Gauges - version 1.0
Excellent work Mark. Thanks. What I am seeing on my site and other user sites from this thread when I visit them is when the gauge page first loads and you mouse over the Temperature Gauge to get the graph popup, the graph displayed is the long term one (usually 31 days or tempm.png) graph despite ...
