Mod security, again..
I've unblocked myself via the client firewall area.
The question is, why is this happening to multiple customers? It's awful.
Hostpresto are not even replying to tickets either.

Re: Hostpresto server migration
Yep - same
I opened a ticket over an hour ago, and they have not replied.
Lost for words on how bad they've become.

Still have this problem. Had a 43mph gust at around 18:54 but the 10 minute peak gust said 38mph.

Re: Hostpresto server migration
@mapantz, I've never seen anything from HP saying users will receive an email when downtime is required. It's very infrequent as far as I'm concerned. I'm not sure how many more times I need to tell you.. they DO send emails when server maintenance is due. Every host I have used has sent emails out...

Re: Hostpresto server migration
Oh, and the latest dirty trick from Hostpresto: I can confirm that the message in the client area announcement was correct and this was not an old announcement. Really? Screenshot 2024-01-18 023714.png They've quietly changed that announcement, and then tried to tell me that it was not an old announ...

Re: Hostpresto server migration
They don’t send emails for down time . Now I know they use Announcements I check there as I did earlier this week. There wasn’t one which tells me it’s a short disconnection. The message on my website was different to the other week so I knew it was a different issue. I'm not getting angry, I'm try...

Re: Hostpresto server migration
The hosting company that never takes their servers down for maintenance doesn’t exist. I never once said it didn't.. But you don't seem to understand that customers should be receiving emails to say it will be happening. Show me the email you got to warn you that server maintenance was taking place...

Re: Hostpresto server migration
They are crooks! Hostpresto are the most incompetent hosting company I've come across. The amount of downtime and issues in the last 7 months is unacceptable. How long does it take to (decide to) go to another provider :?: You tell me?! I don't have the time to do it, as it's something that needs t...

Re: Hostpresto server migration
Hostpresto are diabolical! My website went down for over an hour again last night. I emailed them and I got the same reply as last time.. saying that a migration was taking place "As per the email and announcement" on the client area of their website. Yet again, no email was sent and there...

Re: CMX unresponsive
Out of interest, does the upload.php work with http:// ? Edit: I changed it to http:// in CMX, but it didn't like it. Yet another balls-up from Hostpresto meant that my SSL certificate hasn't renewed despite paying for it in advance. This means that upload.php is failing due to using https:// Honest...
