Re: Installing v.1.8.1 over previous versions

I was wondering that too, Stuart, but whatever...

It's possible there's something I hadn't thought of which prevents you doing it this way, it's a bit difficult for me to say at the moment with a dead computer.

You don't seem to have attached the bug report?

Re: Gauges Page

Your images aren't getting uploaded - the times on the graphs don't correspond to the current time. Normally, as Harry has suggested, switching to active ftp mode would fix this, but it clearly doesn't in your case. Could you please switch on ftp logging (on the configuration menu) and after a few w...

Re: Changing from Metric to Imperial ???

As it says in the help file, you can't change units once you've chosen them. However, this shouldn't be causing the problem you're seeing. The problem it causes is that your stored data will have been recorded in mm and Cumulus will now assume it was stored in inches, so you'll have 25.4 times as mu...

Re: Gauges Page

You're not getting any wind plotted on your graphs either, although you clearly do have some wind. I can't imagine why that's happening, and I can't easily look at the Cumulus code for clues. You could try restarting Cumulus?

Re: Installing v.1.8.1 over previous versions

I think you'd probably be OK doing that. You'll need to create a new folder called Diags, for the new startup diagnostic logs; and some (all?) of the supplied web pages have had minor changes to them. And the help file has changed.

Re: Website Customizing - Is it Possible...

Sorry, not possible. And as the code for the gauges isn't mine and I'm not a javascript expert, it's unlikely that I'll be able to provide anything like that in the near future.

Re: Website Customizing - Is it Possible...

I have then saved this back to the PC that is running Culumus and over written the indext.htm that is in the web directory. Yes, overwriting indexT.htm will work. Dreamweaver has unhelpfully turned the angle brackets into < and > so Cumulus no longer recognises the web tags. This is mentioned in th...

Re: Website Customizing - Is it Possible...

I'm assuming your problem is not html, but getting the data values inserted? To get the data values to be inserted into the files before upload, they have to be processed by Cumulus. The standard files (the ones with T in them) get processed automatically (if you have the default 'include standard f...

Re: Website Customizing - Is it Possible...

I have tried to copy the original tables from the 'web' program directory and paste them into my own template but this obviously fails, can anyone put into plain english what I am missing.... I haven't tried myself, but I would have thought that was pretty much all you needed to do. What went wrong...
