Re: Website gauges not working

Hi, Originally no, but have added that as suggested and still no joy. I've also confirmed that the same file has been uploaded to the remote website via FTP. I can't get them to work regardless of using MX or Cumulus 1. http://localhost:8998/gauges.html displays the gauges correctly, it's just the w...

Website gauges not working

I'm still getting to grips with MX and get en error on my website when the gauges have been selected. http://micro-heli.co.uk/gauge.png One the page is loaded the gauges show -20 to +40, but when the option to select one of the choices on the radio buttons the temperature gauges display -10000 to 99...

Re: Strange outside temp readings

Thanks Alan, Whatever it was it's now reading realistic temperatures and humidity. Maybe anyone else experiencing similar issues might try the same thing before replacing the transmitter unit. My mate is swapping out the wind speed sensor this lunchtime so hopefully the temperatures remain the same ...

Re: Interface layout

Thanks for the reply Paul. Not quite what I was looking for. I've used paint to make up an image of what I was trying to get over http://micro-heli.co.uk/cmx.png By moving things around a little all tiles can fit on one single page without the need to scroll up or down (ignore the scroll bar on the ...

Interface layout

I've tried searching to see if this has been covered before, but couldn't see anything. Is there any way to change the layout of the pages. These days most computers have screens that are capable of running at 1920 x 1080, so why does MX not use this area. When running, all the graphs, gauges and da...

Re: Strange outside temp readings

Ok this is really strange. This morning I disconnected and reconnected the batteries in the transmitter and left the pcb on top of the display of the base station (I have wired a remote battery pack which normally sits in the shed) and let it settle for a while. After a short period both temperature...

Re: Strange outside temp readings

Thanks for the reply, The transmitter is located in a shaded area on the side of a shed. However, that's not the problem as I swapped over both wind sensors for new ones, and brought the transmitter inside and placed it along side the base station so I can compare temperatures and the "outside&...

Re: Strange outside temp readings

OK... tried a longer period with batteries removed...

Initial power up and it read 4.2c and 45% humidity.... but then slowly increased, 6.6c, then 7.9c now 8.3c and humidity dropped to 35% again....

Strange outside temp readings

I have one of the Maplin fine offset stations and up until the past few days it's been running fine. However I noticed that the wind speed sensor was no longer revolving the other day, and today, whilst I still have frost on the patio table, the sensor is reading 10.5C for the outside temperature,an...

Customising layout

Hi Guys, Well my old weather station has been running fine for years now, running Cumulus 1 with no real problems, and seeing Steve didn't really progress with version 2 Have been away from the site for some time... Casual browse this afternoon and WOW... look what's been going on ! Have downloaded ...

Not reading air pressure correctly

last night I Cumulus reported an error in that it couldn't communicate with the base station. I tried the normal trick of trying different USB ports and still no joy. In the end I remove the batteries and fitted fresh ones. This resolved the issue and Cumulus began downloading data and everything se...

Re: New Sensor Location

Well after several days of rain the weather was kind enough to give us a window in which to sort the station out. I removed the old wind sensor array from its old position on the shed at the rear of the garden, and opened up the wind speed sensor. I removed the old cable and soldered one end of a 10...

Re: New Sensor Location

Thanks for the info Alan... That's part of the problem, using 5m ext cables the connectors get full of water and I'm loosing wind and rain data. I have a crimp tool so was looking at getting a 50m reel of four way cable and extending the cables, so they would be hard wired into the sensors, and conn...
