Re: installing Steel Gauges v 2.7.3
The Steelseries gauges stand alone ss-gauges used with Cumulus 1 required the realtimegaugesT.txt to be added to the \Cumulus\web folder and then added as an extra file to be processed and FTP by Cumulus. I haven't checked but presumably v.2.7.3 is the latest ss-gauges version. When Steve added ss-g...

Re: installing Steel Gauges v 2.7.3
I was writing to ask if the v2.5.5 default with CumulusMX worked and you wanted to upgrade to v2.7.3, and see you now have the default gauges and the trends working.
Enjoy,
Paul

Build 3047
Thanks Mark,
Update was easy and looks like all good from here on dashboard and http://www.komokaweather.com/cumulusmx/index.htm
I used the end-of-day to upload dayfile.txt and that worked perfect after the midnight rollover.
Regards,
Paul

Re: Website build problem
You're very welcome, and great to seeing things current again!
Yes you need to look at the gauges and the trends pages. I can't think of anything at the moment other than to check your settings, and that you successfully uploaded all the contends of CumulusMX\webfiles folder.
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: Website build problem
I was away for a while, and see some success...
http://www.laferla.ca/weather/realtime.txt
http://www.laferla.ca/weather/realtimegauges.txt
both being updated!
Can't see anything yet with http://www.laferla.ca/weather/index.htm
so some more work to be done.
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: Website build problem
I don't know anything about Pi and thought the actual Cumulus and FTP settings would be somewhat similar to PC set up. The only difference I have in my settings is that I have ticked UTF-8 encoding. Not sure if using Active FTP mode or FTP rename would make any difference as not familiar with that a...

Re: Website build problem
The only thing to manualy FTP to your webserver are the contents of Cumulus\webfiles. There should be no xxxxT files on your webserver, these should only be in \Cumulus\web At the set interval Cumulus should process the \web xxxT files and FTP as per your WebFTP settings. That is all that would be n...

Re: Website build problem
Hi, I presume your Host name, User name, and Password are correct as it looks like you have been able to manually upload the necessary files such as http://www.laferla.ca/weather/images/picture.jpg The Directory setting is most likely your issue. Did you have to create the /weather folder in public_...

Re: Weather Summary for 2018
Hi Matt,
We spoke to our son and grandsons on December 21st in the morning (we FaceTime every Friday morning) and I remember him saying that it was quite hot there in Brisbane.
Our 2018 was quite typical... Enjoy,
Paul

Re: Tasmanian Fires 2019
Where do I see cold in that 7 day forecast ;) We haven't seen 8°C for nearly a month and that would be a nice relief for us. all cold weather stuff packed away for the move What does that consist of, long sleeve shirt and socks  Glad you've missed most of the direct fire effect, and stay cool. ...

Re: Unable to get Cumulus MX to run
That is the usual CumulusMX startup screen. As noted in the DOS command prompt screen Cumulus is running at http://*:8998/ (Replace * with any IP address on this machine, or localhost) In a browser enter that URL but in place of the * in the example replace it with your computer's local IP address, ...

Re: CumulusMX will not completely start.
The current b.3046 has the extra line of 'Normal running' after the 'Type Ctrl-C to terminate' and 'Downloading Archive Data', but not sure if that was in earlier builds.
I presume there is nothing in your MXdiags files?
Updating to current b.3046 may be helpful as well.
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: Tasmanian Fires 2019
Wishing you all the best Tony and hopefully you will still have a chance to post and keep on contact.
Looking at your time-lapse, while we have been down under in AU about a dozen years ago it still looks very strange to see that globe in the sky go the wrong other way...
Enjoy,
Paul
