Re: Parts required for 3 or 4 year old WS1081.

I have a working Fine Offset 1081 that I bought back in 2010. The only issues are the annenometer is not working and the rain gauge is broken. Apart from that all is ok. I've replaced it with a Davis VP2. I'm located in SA. Cumulus in its latest version should work with the Fine Offset 1081. Many me...

Re: Cumulus RealTime Data Grabber - Tool

Thanks for your program development Mark. I only found this little gem a few days ago and have added it to my weather PC and incorporated it into my website. Don't know if others have done this, but I've added it to my general set of HTML pages with the page header I've used for my other pages. When...

Re: Annual Extremes - Year-by-year

I've now completed the two pages on my web site for monthly extremes (nothing new here) and for yearly extremes (an adaptation of records.htm), showing by default All Time extremes and year by year extremes. The year by year data is hard coded but the All Time and current year use cumulus <#webtags>...

Re: Annual Extremes - Year-by-year

Thanks Steve and mcrossley, I'm not familiar with PHP so will probably not venture there yet. Steve, as you suggest and as I first thought, hard coding the data is probably easiest and is only a once off task for me. All time data is easily done with Cumulus web tags as is the current year. It's jus...

Annual Extremes - Year-by-year

I've decided to include annual records or extremes on my website. My service provider web server that I use does not use PHP. I know there are webtags for extremes during the current year, but I can see anyway of extracting extremes using webtags for each year in the same way that the monthlyrecord....

Re: web site is getting there!!!

Ace2, Have a look at my gauges-ss.css file. I made some minor changes to .content, .gauge and each of the .GaugeSize... http://members.aussiebroadband.com.au/muster/weather/css/gauges-ss.css In gauges-ssT.htm, I changed all the gauge sizes to GaugeSizeLrg. I also increased the canvas_status width to...

Re: web site is getting there!!!

Looking good at my end Ace. Have a look at my Gauges page. I've changed gauge dimensions and a few other things to tweak it to work better with the iPad and iPhone. It now uses more of the screen width and makes them readable. Might look better on other mobiles as well. http://members.aussiebroadban...

Re: web site is getting there!!!

Just replace the #content ..... in the weatherstyle.css with the @media .... Down to the end of the third @media ....

Make sure you include all of this including the necessary { }.

Change the margins to suit yourself.

Re: web site is getting there!!!

very interesting, I was and still having problem with mobile phone browsers, so I might steal this and have a little play with it. By all means. I was going to steal a bit our website by the way. We South Aussies need to stick together. Another option for mobile phones is a separate HTML. I have on...

Re: web site is getting there!!!

Just a note and a bit of input which may help some members. I was having trouble with my website display on an iPad. I wanted to reduce the margins when displaying on a narrower browser. A bit of research revealed that I could add a bit of logic to weatherstyle.css for the #content { that would retu...

Re: Identifying where you live

Yes, someone in our town found an egg on the lawn that a cook layed on a hot day. By the time they discovered it, it was almost cooked.

Maximum here today was 42.6 C at 15:40.

Re: Cumulus Bug With Desktop

William, have you got Cumulus set to minimise to the tray? It might be worth trying this deactivated for a while and then activated to see if one or the other settings produces your ghosted title bar image.

Re: Running CUMULUS from a remote site via the internet....

I've been experimenting with remote access to my Cumulus PC. I've been using Splashtop at work for remote access so decided to give it a try. I'm really looking for a way to get the PC deal with issues that might arise when away on holidays or at work. Splashtop seems to fit the bill as it works on ...
