degree days and temp sump charts not loading
Ok - I've clearly missed something pretty basic but have been tearing my hair out trying to get these charts to load on the standard web site (new version) on b3130. They just stay blank with the 'loading' message displayed. I thought it might have been due to some customisation I had done to a few ...

Re: Error sending Test Email
Thanks for the feedback. I did hit the save button after checking the box but I think Phil might have it - the setting only holds for the current session. Is this to prevent large log files? otherwise might be good to have it hold the setting.

Re: Ecowitt Advice
Hi Keith, To get this system to work with CMX, you just have to purchase the GW1000 gateway. It is the GW1000 that talks to CMX and it will read the data from the sensor array. I have this setup on one of my stations (redrobin.duckdns.org) but I went the other way. I purchased the GW1001 which is th...

Re: Discovery doesn't work for GW1000 at 433MHz
I would second this based on my 433 MHz GW1000 station. I'm not sure which version the problems started but certainly from build 3122 the autodiscovery hasn't worked. I have solved it by reserving an IP address in my router and then entering this IP address and the station MAC address into the GW100...

Re: Error sending Test Email
I have also noticed that, when I restart MX, the mail logging check box in the program general settings doesn't seem to hold. I have to check it again. Not sure if this is deliberate.

Re: Email subject line
Thanks Both. I do run two instances of MX on two different RPi's, hence my desire to differentiate the emails. Thanks for the heads up on strings.ini file Paul. I thought it might only refer to text formatting but the samplestrings.ini file does contain an e-mail preamble line (subject?). I modified...

Email subject line
Hi all,
Love the email function in the new release. A minor one I know but is there any way to customise the subject line? I have two weather stations and the generic mail doesn't alert me to which station it is coming from.

Chart colours
Had a rainy day here in Perth so thought I would do a bit of exploring on highcharts. Nothing dramatic but I added a bit of colour to the CMX chart pages. Results can be seen on either of my stations. For anyone interested, the updated js files are attached. Simply replace the versions in your web f...

Re: ftp issues
Hi Mark, Thanks for your response. I do connect using bitvise ssh port 22 but my take on these errors was thinking they related to the ftp upload of the data to my web directory. When the problem started all ftp uploads stopped so no gauge page or web page update. I had seen this reported before (be...

Re: ftp issues
Thanks Steiner for your response. Unfortunately that is where my capability runs out. I'll do some googling to see what I can uncover. I do think this is an issue outside MX.

Re: ftp issues
That is correct. It is in fact the same Rpi running MX which is also running an apache webserver. Has never given me an issue until today and I have a second station with the same setup that is running fine. The SFTP is to the /var/www directory on the Rpi.

ftp issues
Well what started out today as a simple backup of one of my stations has turned into a bit of a nightmare. Shortly after completing the backup, I noticed the web pages weren't updating. I should declare at this point that I did forget to stop MX using the systemctl stop command before commencing the...

Re: New gauges page
Thanks Simon. Cancel this request. Opened the webpage tonight and scaled perfectly. Not sure what happened. Perhaps I needed to dump the cache to allow it to display properly.

New gauges page
Hi all, Please excuse my html ignorance here but I have been having a play with the new gauges page (I like the layout) but have struck a small layout problem. I have added a couple of extra web pages to my site which has resulted in a second menu line on the PC version. This has caused a slight ove...
