To start you off: All the resistors have coloured rings that indicate their value (and tolerance), the board has positions for resistors labelled R and then a number, while the piece of paper lists the resistor values with what resistor positions use each of those values.

Re: GW2001 aka WittBoy
I was using https. I don't know what the URL on the map is - is it different to https://goosegate.uk/ ? No, https://goosegate.uk/ may have valid certificate, but the URL on the CUtils map is actually "https:www.goosegate.uk" (which translates to "http://goosegate.uk/" so is not ...

Re: Now displaying average wind speed and not real time wind speed
I had stayed out of that area due to the dragon warning. Actually, the "use wind speed for average" setting was not behind that dragon warning whenever you previously looked at settings! Moving it to "advanced settings" was in recent release announcement . These constant tweaks,...

Re: Exporttomysql after build 3190
The new version does not seem to work on Build 3190. ExportToMySQL.exe release 1.5 does not flag any such error for me, but I accept differences exist between your test and mine : - I ran it with MONO 6.12.0.182 on Raspberry Pi OS (not .NET on Microsoft Windows) - I tested it with a monthly file (n...

Re: Alternative CumulusMX Interface
For this of you using the AI you will need to update the AI to. I think you meant that to end with 'too' , not 'to' and to type ' those ', not 'this'. Anyway, I gather you meant (in my words) "If you are a AI user, I have released an updated AI version reflecting changes in new MX release"...

Re: CumulsMX PHP Webtags
In an editing error, when you added $CPUTemp (that has no description), you deleted variable and web tag <#cumulusforecast> for description left at line 318. The textural description is wrong in several lines: 478, 654, 658, 804-807 inclusive, 815, 863, 864, 889-892 inclusive. I will leave it to you...

Re: Ecowitt Lightning Date Needed
You cannot change the frequency; you have to order the one to match your existing kit, which I thought in the case of the UK and Europe had to be 868MHz? The specification at the back of the Lightning Detector sensor manual (I have one) actually says North America 915 MHz, Europe 868MHz, Other area...

Re: Editing the web tags Wiki page
HansR, Thank you for sensible supporting words, and for offer to contribute. I fully support your suggestion that it would make sense for several people to co-operate on any Wiki update project. I don't know how many new web tags have been added, the topic I quoted does not say, but MX changes are l...

Editing the web tags Wiki page
it was pointed out to me I had missed some new webtags. The current https://cumuluswiki.org/a/Webtags is missing all the new tags since version 3.12.0 beta build 3134. I did one major redesign of "web tags" when I split off page explaining parameters! It now needs someone to volunteer to ...

Re: "startup" database update
To enhance the already-available database updates performed at the realtime interval, the logging interval and at rollover, I would like to have a database update performed at MX start-up. I would use this to store such (relatively) static data as release number, build number, latitude, longitude, ...

Re: Database and CumulusMX
You could do worse than reading up on MySQL views. You could define a view that presents the data from your existing tables in a format that is acceptable to Weather34. I perhaps should have made it clearer, I don't use this software, but just had a quick scan of its code. That made me believe weat...

Re: Database and CumulusMX
Since nobody else has answered your actual questions.... I see in the settings there is room to enter database information but no table information. The settings you can enter are just to define the way to connect to your database server. The database name, and table name are both hard-coded into th...

Re: Second Anemometer
Ok, makes sense for information about people whose home location can be worked out from disclosed information, not to have their movements made public.
Freddie, you have your Davis anemometer up high, perhaps you can give an appropriate answer to the original post?
