Re: Important - Highcharts Licensing
I'd be interested to hear what you think of them once you've had a decent play around. Another option is one of the many wrappers for D3?

Re: un-representable values.
I can see how the error could happen, but at the moment I'm failing to see why it happened! I've added some additional debug logging from the next build in case it recurs.

Re: Important - Highcharts Licensing
if we do get a Free personal license and have to renew it, I guess this is only for users with their own website. not sure what the percentage of CMX users run their own website and use highcharts. Personally it maybe an inconvenience to apply for a highchart license but maybe it would be easier th...

Important - Highcharts Licensing
A little while ago I noticed that Highcharts appeared to have changed their licensing terms. When Cumulus started using Highcharts it was free to use for non-commercial applications which includes most of our hobby web sites. I contacted Highcharts about this and after a number of emails back and fo...

Nothing to worry about, it's just you connecting to the Dashboard before the station has finished initialising, it just means the Station Location text will be missing from the page.

Just using bog standard Edge on my phone, there is no option to enable anything like that. I thought all modern browsers preferred https nowadays
Perhaps they have enabled it for all their clients? After all, it costs them nothing other than a bit of setup time.

Re: Adding to Now page
Cumulus only sends the "LastRainTipISO" tag, so you will have to use that. Any help?

Re: Need help adjusting crazy yearly rainfall totals
You said the error was in January, so use the built-in: Data logs > Dayfile to view all the days in January and find the days with erroneous readings in the Total rainfall column and edit to values you think they should be. Once finished, restart Cumulus to recalculate the annual rainfall again.

Re: Need help adjusting crazy yearly rainfall totals
At start-up Cumulus goes through your day file and adds up the value for each day this year (and this month), this is where the values come from. So, if the day file is correct for every day, then the year-to-date total should be correct as well. If it isn't then it indicates you still have a proble...

Re: CMXv4 ExtraSensors Trends
I do have it under a bit of control now, but it is an ongoing investigation. On Windows it is now consuming around 105 MB (125 for the debug version) at the start, which does increase like v3 when you view charts etc. But there is also evidence that the garbage collector is having some effect. After...
