Re: *** Data input appears to have stopped
Because MX cannot talk to station it cannot know if the sensors have disconnected from the console.

Re: Date format in CumulusMX data causes errors in Cumulus 1
Hello. I read that it is possible to run a script to convert cumulusMX inifiles to be used in cumulus 1. can anyone explain exactly how it is done. in what language is the script written? I will use it on a windows 10 PC :) The script(s) are above, they are written in PowerShell. Save as a file wit...

Having started this latest update I guess I'm going to have to update my version now. Too much to do, too little time

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
I was revisiting this and playing with doing a complete rewrite using SQL queries rather than making the SQL emulate a dayfile! But it raised a question... Are the seasonal figures correct? Shouldn't 1st December 2018 be the start of Winter 2018, not 2019? Winter 2018 being Dec 2018 -> Feb 2019. If ...

Re: VP2 archive read timing out
The timeout is set at 200 milliseconds. But in general it seems to work, even when people have mismatching logging intervals which causes the logger to download the entire logger contents. I guess I could increase this just for the DMPAFT date and time command and see if it improves things. Say to 5...

Re: VP2 archive read timing out
The timeout is waiting for an acknowledgement of the command, each record it sends is separately acknowledged.

Re: Sunshine -169.40 hrs
OK, so if you fix that line by removing the leading white space, do you get any more errors?

Re: Highcharts Tides
OK, if you look at my demo page now, it should be displaying in *your* local time including DST. So if you aren't in the UK the times will still be your local time wherever you are. I have updated the zip download. You now have to enter your countries default TZ string into the uk7daystides.php clas...

Re: Highcharts Tides
Still looks right to me...
But I'll have another look at the code tonight... not convinced about the TZ stuff...

Re: Highcharts Tides
However your graph matches the UKHO times and heights for the main tides exactly?
