Re: AutoStart under Windows
Just to say that MX does not have to run as administrator on Windows. It does have to be given permission to create the web server that runs the admin interface. Please see https://cumuluswiki.org/a/Cumulus_MX#Requirements_for_running_on_Windows for the relevant documentation. I have to say that I a...

Re: Reworked default websites
HansR remember that guy asking about a weather web site within WordPress, there is a fine example on that site at https://wpw.oaktreewebs.co.uk/ Yes David, but on that site it references a how to that is not available yet, so I guess Neil is only just starting this, his third site, counting that wh...

I think he's still there, just use https The website is there at https: as you say, but the relevant download page (accessed from Extras on his site) returns a 404. it was 3 years ago ;) Yes, but I'm trying to ensure https://cumuluswiki.org/a/Category:User_Contributions is comprehensive and has rig...

Re: CumulusMX and Cumulus1 UI style Multilingual Websites
Thank you for telling me about changes in last 6 months, as I mentioned my knowledge is several years outdated. If I ever update my METAR suite, you have mentioned the first change I must make.
Maybe you can share via PM any other useful METAR updates to save clutter in Brian's topic.

Re: CumulusMX and Cumulus1 UI style Multilingual Websites
Request help configuring CumulusMX UI style to show METAR conditions in the Cloudbase graphic from the theUIwebsiteMX_Options. Do I need to change anything in the get-metarSA-inc.php? In cloudbaseCUmx.php I have set my local airfield ICAO to EGLF (Farnborough). I use the same site as PaulMy to chec...

Re: METAR
There are a lot of off topic posts, note that for this post I have changed the subject. I accept my experience of METARS is from several years ago now, and might not reflect current practice. Small local airports like Cambridge EGSC close at night, so it and similar ones elsewhere only produces META...

Re: Which year is winter in
PLEASE NOTE MY CHANGE OF TOPIC TITLE FOR MY POST I wonder how antipodeans store their summer records? The BOM in Australia attributes summer to the year in which it ends; for 2019 example see page title in browser for http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/current/season/qld/archive/201902.summary.shtml and ...

Re: Min Temp no longer logged
You say Min temp is no longer logged. Mark says your debug log is normal. Beteljuice says its is wrong all over your web site. When I look at your web site http://johnssonforsberg.net/weather/thisyear.htm I see what look like reasonable minimum temperatures for Sweden. Has the problem gone away ? If...

Re: Repair or replace
In my ten years of using a Fine Offset, I am onto my third anemometer (and that excludes twice doing a repair to keep an old one going), but only second transmitter/console. The anemometers do seem rather too flimsy for the range in air speeds they have to measure (and mine is about 10m above ground...

Re: Data Summary - possible calculation error
Ray, unless I am muddling this up with something else, my memory tells me your bug has already been reported and resolved, as it is a very very old one. Glad to see mapantz agrees with me on at least that it was fixed. If it has resurfaced, me wonders about version control. More likely, knowing you ...

Re: Extra Webfiles Missing
You introduced a typo in those pasting operations, Phil, you've managed to change the spelling of "completed" in the second paste. It is correct in your source, Mark, don't worry, this is not another 'p' issue.
