Re: F to C Conversion?

On the assumption you want both units at the same time (as opposed to 'switching' all units).. In the head section of your xxxT.htm <script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript"> // -- produce temps in C and F tempunit = "<#tempunit>"; native_temp = tempunit.leng...

Re: New to Cumulus, questions

... what I'd like to do is upload every X minutes WITH realtime.txt also monthYearlog.txt,.. Yup you can do that now. Just give it the path / name you want. If you tick the realtime box it uploads at the same frequency as the realtime.txt file settings (ie. seconds), else it follows your 'ordinary'...

Re: Resize Flash Gauges

Very curious - although it's a long while since I messed with 'Flash'.

I can change the width to 300px, but it then creates it's own scroll bars

I didn't even know it could do that, unless it's been 'scripted' into the movie itself somehow ?

Something wrong there - that amount of error with that mod suggests that you were OVER reporting to start with ? Please define "vertical sided tin" - is that a real calibrated intrument or ....... and certainly, as you may have read elsewhere on the forum, Your rain bucket should be fixed ...

Re: Realtime Guages 1.0.0.5 Install issues

Hmm ........ seems OK now

However: this is one of two sites I've seen today where the 'ordinary' guages don't 'fill' unless IE8 is in compatibility mode ?

But they are both sites where they have enforced their own css on the divs which are drawn by wz-graphics - coincidence ?

Re: My national gepgraphic 265ne loses signal

Inside the box used to be a simple loose wire aerial, doubling it's length usually helps most people 'on the edge', but of course does make your receiver more susceptible to interference.

I would suggest that with all the different wx currently supported and their different regimes and protocols, there may not be an easy soloution - over to Steve to prove me wrong :)

Bug Report

Cumulus suddenly bounced an error dialog box at me - nothing else obviously hogging resources / having problems.

Tried to allow to continue running - error shortly re-appeared.
Cumulus closed and restarted.

Re: Missing mouseover pop-ups?

The beteljuice used to have a reel-to-reel Ampex video recorder, and started writing web pages for Ye Olde Netscape - majority (not quality) rule !

Running IE8 in 'compatibility' mode allows gizmo to work, but 'normal' ajax still folds (all pages)

Re: Missing mouseover pop-ups?

I'll take your word for it that FF obeys the title= within a <div>, but by putting it there it is conflicting with the <img title= .... So either move the new title construct or remove the img one ;) BTW, Did you realize neither your ajax nor ajax gizmo appear to be working (IE8) ? and just how wide...

Re: Missing mouseover pop-ups?

So do as suggested, add the title="my description" inside the <img ... /> tag. Or if you want to blow your mind you could try something like: <td width="33%" align="center"> <img src="images/compass.png" name="Compass" alt="Wind Compass" ti...

Re: Missing mouseover pop-ups?

ALT will always give some information somehow in any browser (depending on options set), TITLE was a M$ innovation, I'm not sure how many browsers / media apps support it.
