Re: NOAA reports
Thanks, I guess that's why.
Does the default Windows font need changing? Seems that requires to be done through the registry, which I'm not comfortable doing

NOAA reports
I haven't accessed NOAA reports in MX since making the transition from Cumulus 1 (for the better I must say) but am having a hard time interpreting the annual reports in particular - the columns becoming progressively misaligned on my system.
Example attached.

Re: Wind run on historic wind chart
Great to see this included in historical data.
If it hasn't yet been noted, the mouseover readings show units as km/h for me. Shouldn't that be km/day or just km?

Re: Cumulus MX release 3.9.2 (build 3097) Historic Graphs
Are the historical charts now accessible on my PC if I don't have a website? I looked in vain.....

Re: Rain rate discrepancy
Today the data log reported 1.7mm/hr (before MX started) and this was the only bucket tip for the day, and the chart agrees with that. However the dashboard, the rain rate gauge and theToday/Yesterday page all show a maximum rate of 3.6mm/hr, at the time of the single tip. This behaviour is consiste...

Re: Rain rate discrepancy
Computer motherboard meltdown caused a long delay in getting back up and running during the latest Covid lockdown, but MX is now running again on a new PC. I've now worked out what is happening, and the discrepancy in rainfall rate is because I applied a calibration multiplier of 0.46 to rainfall, a...

Rain rate discrepancy
I don't run my PC overnight so every morning I download the station data, first to Cumulus 1, then swap to MX for the rest of the day, They run in different folders so their data is saved separately. The main reason for this is to retain the capacity to access the Select-a-graph feature that C1 has ...

Re: Updated from Cumulus 1 and can't read dayfile.txt
Thanks again for your detailed advice, much appreciated. Starting a new day, MX commenced showing rainfall for the month and the year, but recorded a staggering amount for yesterday, a negative amount of over 9000mm! Unreal unrain! Swapping back to Cumulus 1 (running in a different folder) there was...

Re: Updated from Cumulus 1 and can't read dayfile.txt
Thank you sfws, I must have been having a senior moment and overlooked Windows was using / instead of - separators. After fixing that and correcting some date entries in the current month, MX opened without file errors and all charts are displaying as they should. That just leaves a problem of this ...

Re: Updated from Cumulus 1 and can't read dayfile.txt
Thanks guys for the help.... I corrected the earlier dates to the - separators using Notepad++, easy :D Then I checked the Windows date format in Control Panel/Region, noticed it was d/MM/yyyy so rightly or wrongly changed it to d/MM/yy which is how Cumulus 1 had been recording dates. Started MX aga...

Updated from Cumulus 1 and can't read dayfile.txt
After 10 years on Cumulus 1 I decided to try MX. Installed easily enough and I copied 10 years of data over into the new folders, as well as cumulus.ini. First problem: MX won't show rainfall for the current month or year and won't display temps in the chart for the past 31 days. The MXdiags.txt fil...
