Re: Under the Weather
Ben, I appreciate your apology but you must have searched quite extensively for my email address because I've not knowingly released it to the wider domain. If you really wanted to get the attention of enthusiasts then a suitable post in weather forums would have been a far better idea. I'm sure if ...

Re: Under the Weather
I've also had this email and I'm not amused. It was treated as spam by my ISP. How has this person got hold of my email address? It's not even entered in my profile settings here and isn't anywhere else on any weather-related site I upload to. Their email states "we found your weather station o...

Re: Consecutive Dry/Wet Days
Yeah, i had the banner for a while, but i managed to stuff up some setting on my browser, so i could never see it myself, so i got rid of it I can't see why a browser would mess it up. Mine is visible in IE7 and Firefox. But you probably have your hands full with your current problem. Might be wort...

Re: Consecutive Dry/Wet Days
The simplest PHP example is the banner many of us have in our signatures. I managed to tweak that so if you are interested in learning PHP that might be a good place to start.

Re: Consecutive Dry/Wet Days
Hi Rob,
Looks like David is well on the way to sorting out your problem. I too would like to use PHP but I need to understand it all first and that won't be quick.

Re: Consecutive Dry/Wet Days
I think it's because your pages are php, not html. Looking at your other tags they are preceeded with "id=" I can't test this here but try changing one to this:- <td class="right_align_indented"> id="LongestDryPeriod" days to id="TLongestDryPeriod"></td> Good ...

Re: Consecutive Dry/Wet Days
I know it's exasperating but you're very close. You've missed a couple of closing > on the tr entries. You can see this if you right-click the webpage and choose View Source. They're highlighted in red indicating a problem. I've removed the date formatting - you can add that later if you want. Paste...

Re: Consecutive Dry/Wet Days
Yep, done that mate (Month year) sorted, thank you SO much Records, its still showing as the tags, rather than data, I think this is because as i said, the records page is not processd via cumulus? It is processed by Cumulus. I've spotted the error. Remove the 'to' after format= in both entries. Th...

Re: Consecutive Dry/Wet Days
Rob,
I can see you're making progress. The ThisYear values don't look right though.
To get the new records text the same replace class="td_rainfall_data" with class="td_temperature_data"

Re: Consecutive Dry/Wet Days
Rob, Sorry. Didn't notice you have only 2 columns for record information (plus the record light column). This code combines the period and date into a single column for both wet and dry periods... <tr class="td_rainfall_data"> <td width="5%"></td> <td class="main_table_text_...

Re: Consecutive Dry/Wet Days
Rob, The code I supplied is for ThisMonthYear page, not all-time records. Here is the code for your all-time records... <tr class="td_rainfall_data"> <td width="5%"></td> <td class="main_table_text_labels"> Longest Dry Period</td> <td class="right_align_indented&qu...

Re: Consecutive Dry/Wet Days
Rob, I added 2 new rows to my ThisMonthYear.html page. It comprises 3 columns, same as your page. See if this helps. <tr class="td_rainfall_data"> <td>Longest Dry Period</td> <td><#MonthLongestDryPeriod> days to <#MonthLongestDryPeriodD format="d mmmm"</td> <td><#YearLongestDryPe...

Re: B1008 - Longest Dry Period This Month query
Steve,
I can understand why you've done it this way. As the two webtags don't really belong to a month I will probably locate them on my home page.
Can you confirm that if a wet or dry spell spans two years it will be reflected in the tags? I guess it would as wet and dry spells can span months.
