Re: dayfile.txt, yesterday.ini files not updating

Hello again Steve Many thanks for quick reply. Ive increased the log time to 10mins, hope that cures the problem. Unfortunately the server that my website is on is off-line at the moment (doesn't seem to be my lucky day does it? :( ) but I've attached the current graphs of my weather station. As you...

Re: dayfile.txt, yesterday.ini files not updating

I've attached cumulus.008.txt (renamed from cumulus.008 as it wouldn't accept the 008 extension)

I use Wireless from the Sensor unit outside to the Base Station near my computer then serial cable to COM1

Thanks

Ian

dayfile.txt, yesterday.ini files not updating

Hi Steve Firstly I'm running v1.85, build 690, WinXP with all the latest updates under an Admin account. My weather station is a LaCrosse WS2315. Since the 26 Jan my dayfile.txt and yesterday.ini haven't been updating and when I boot up the computer first thing in the morning I'm getting some strang...

Re: Wind Data no longer showing

If there's no wind, there can't be a wind direction. Surely the Bearing should be showing the last wind direction? A weather vane doesn't automatically swing around to North (0 degrees) when the wind stops, it stays where it is. Which is what you had in Build 592 and before. Anyway, it's still a br...

Re: Wind Data no longer showing

Hello again Steve Sorry to be a pain in the proverbial but the two attached screen grabs were taken only a matter of seconds apart using Build 582 and Build 600. As you can see on the 600 one there is no data (except for Wind Run) The weather at the moment is totally calm so I understand that some o...

Re: Wind Data no longer showing

The wind speed is currently at Zero on the weather station but the direction is SSE but Cumulus is showing Bearing 0 --- Strangely it all started working for a short time then stopped again. I'm beginning to think it's a problem with my weather station or maybe the COM connection. I'll wait and see ...

Re: Wind Data no longer showing

Hello again Steve Not sure whether I made myslef clear before. It's the Wind area on the main screen that's showing zeros. For example : Latest : 0.0 km/h Bearing 0 --- (dashes where the wind direction should be) Gust : 0.0 km/h etc... Strangely though the Wind Run (currently 3.1 km) is working. Tha...

Wind Data no longer showing

The last two Beta releases of 1.8.4 (Build 596 and 598) are no longer showing any data - except all zeros. Build 592 was OK.

I'm using a LaCrosse WS2315 with Windows XP.

Re: Clicking on the flashing "Record" light - ERROR

Hi Steve YES, you're right., I was messing around with the date format  I managed to get it running again OK by doing a System Restore. As I said before I was using other weather software which I had uninstalled. I thought that might have caused the problem eg. deleted some DLL or something. A...
