Daily Rainfall Edit

Hi Happy New Year to everyone. I am fortunate to have a Met Office Rain Gauge, which I use for my weather statistics. My Davis VP2 also records the rainfall which is used for my website and day to day graphs and charts. As with many bits of weather equipment there is a a discrepancy between the two ...

One contacted me today asking if their email address could be hidden from the others ? sort of BCC. The email that gets sent out contains everyone else's email address Ive looked at the setup ...

Re: Davis UV Sensor

It's a proper Davis UV sensor. I see new ones are £400 so it's something I wouldn't be able to afford so when I was given an old one I thought I was in luck. But, despite me reading the Davis manuals I don't think it says what figure it transmits. So I can only assume its zero to 12 ish. So far I've...

Davis UV Sensor

Hi I was given an old UV sensor that was surplus to the users requirements and fitted it yesterday to my existing Davis VP2 setup. It worked straightaway but the reading I am getting this morning is 5.0 - according to the forecast today UV should be between 0 and 1. Is the sensor faulty or am I read...

Re: Data has stopped being uploaded

Update 123reg my hosting company are still unable to tell me what happened or why, but they are pleased I am working again. Thats great but not really helpful. As my issue has cleared at their end, they dont know what happened. The only thing they have said that makes sense is that "open" ...

Re: Data has stopped being uploaded

Update My website started uploading again late morning and has been working fine ever since. I have made no changes and my website hosting company have not read my support ticket or replied. My thought so far is that on their return to work today they had an error which they have cleared. If I hear ...

Will see what the support ticket produces.

Re: Data has stopped being uploaded

I've managed to log I to my control panel and upload realtime file. Took ages !!

I think it had a limit of 8 open connections

Really should have something visible to close them all, would solve the issue very quickly.

This has changed the figure to 3.7hrs - its still not right but I will now wait until anyone says I should edit the todays.ini file or just wait until tomorrow at rollover and see if it updates itself ?
