Day File lockup in Firefox
R Pi 3B+ remotly accessed by a laptop via WiFI. If I attempt to access Data Logs> Dayfile, Firefox (61.01.1 (64 bit)) fails to fully load the C MX webpage. The title text for the columns some fully appear, some quite feint, with no data appearing and the website locks up and no other pages can be lo...

Display Console - near disaster
After a considerable battle getting CumulusMX working with my Pi 3B+ and my WH1081, deciding that now I was no longer tied by usb to having the display in cable range of my desktop computer upstairs - the only place I could reliably get a signal from the sensors, I decided now was the time to add th...

Re: Instructions: Installing CumulusMX on Raspberry Pi
All now working, after a more thorough reading of the first post in this thread..
I managed (eventually) to download a copy of mono v3.1 directly onto the Pi, rename it, then install it.

Re: Instructions: Installing CumulusMX on Raspberry Pi
I would seem to be going round in ever decreasing circles on the mono problem.... I have R Pi with the very latest upto date Raspian installed and I installed the latest mono which is NOT working with my FO usb. I know I need to uninstall my copy of mono and install a v 3.x, but I have been struggli...

Re: WMR200 station not found!
I am very new to the Pi and to Linux, but so far I have managed to get my Pi working, installed CMX on it, got that working, plus can access the Pi from my laptop using VMC and can get CMX working, can browse its web page. I am just stuck at the moment, with the Pi not seeming to connect to the stat...

Re: WMR200 station not found!
Could someone please give me a few clues how to download mono, to work with a FO USB station? I am struggling to make sense of the download process on the R Pi, in particular, this bit... "Then update the source list with the version you wish to install by running the following command (replace...

Re: FO on the LAN?
Right, so what I think I understand and whilst I wait for my Pi to turn up here... The Pi can be left permanently to the FO console, from which it forms a web page on the Pi which can be accessed via the LAN (and maybe from the WAN?). Am I correct in guessing that the Pi also stores the historical d...

Re: FO on the LAN?
Someone on the forum dazza I think has made a rPi boot image with CumulusMX pre-installed, so in theory all you would need to do would be to buy a rPi/case/PSU/SD Card and write that image to the SD card, power on your rPi, then configure Cumulus for your station. Simples eh? What could possibly go...

That sounds interesting and I read a little of the thread, but it went a little over my head and I also thought that project had been dropped?

Re: FO on the LAN?
the console on the FO needs a USB connection so you must have a wired connection to a device for it to download the data in the first place whether you like it or not. if you cannot be bothered going upstairs to turn you desktop on, then I suggest you move your FO console downstairs and then turn y...

Re: FO on the LAN?
I do not wish to have a PC or laptop running 24/7, but it would be useful to be able to locate the FO console/display where it suits me. Uploading live data to a website, involves having a PC or laptop on to upload the data. My FO console/display has to be located upstairs, so it can receive reliabl...

FO on the LAN?
I have not been keeping up to date on developments, but have there been any developments which would allow me to make the FO's data available on my LAN please? My present setup is that I have the FO display console in my 'office' (a small spare bedroom), this is USB connected to an old WinXP desktop...
