Seeking new website

My previous websit server absconded with $ and closed. I'm looking for a new location from which to run my weather site...preferably cheap. Already have a host name.

Whoops---Wind Damage

My wind-speed twirly and cross-arm for my Zephyr PWS-1000TD I are broken. I can't locate replacement parts online. Anyone with ideas? Apparently the unit itself is obsolete but surely other fine-offset parts will work!

Why fix it if it isn't broken? :lol:

Yes...have a look at my website...at the bottom under conditions. I've only done them for temps & dewpoint ... but looking into doing conversions for all of them.

Re: Updated: Wind direction indicator - tail mods plus some Q's

Here's a shot of my vane....

I used duct/carpet tape with nylon wire ties to form the basic structure and a small hose clamp on the nose for counter-balance.

Prior to the mod, the vane would spin like a top. By lenghthening it and adding the tail fin, it seems much more stable.

Re: Updated: Wind direction indicator - tail mods plus some Q's

I fashioned a new tail (much like an airplane) and placed a small hose-clamp on the nose. It seems to have calmed down considerably from what it was. I used duct/carpet tape and some straight, nylon twist-ties to keep the tail shape in-tact. My only problem is that the tail leans slightly which I th...

Re: Webcam Servers

Thanks for the quick-fix, Kevin. The "table" references were just remnants of something else I was trying and I forgot to remove them. My basic point was the premise of just how easy adding live cams can be providing the cams are IP and have an addressable address. Now programming a user-i...

I just poke this into the .htm file from my Trendnet cams. They're configured at 25fps <!--Video--> <div align="left"><font color="blue"><b>sky cam</b></div> <TABLE> <applet name="cvcs" codebase="http://70.162.177.193:81/" code="xplug.class" align=&q...

In the xxxT.htm files would be the place to change text color. These are the template files. Or....you could lighten your background to say 40% of its current richness....or both.
