Did you read the mod for the humidity sensor?
IIRC drill more holes in the case around the sensor.

Re: Solar power for sensors
Prices are not dear nowadays, just look at some on e-bay - replacement phone batteries. LiPo etc do not like going below a certain voltage though. In the cold they do noticeably loose some capacity. I tend to think the best system is to attach an umbilical cord and have the batteries in an easily ac...

Re: Solar power for sensors
What about using a LiPoly or LiIon cell?
High capacity and good charge retention; voltage is about right too.

Re: Editing rain records
Just to keep you up to date; the reason for the problem was flat batteries. It was drawing a supply from the USB port, but when I switched the laptop off, the problem occurred.

Editing rain records
Hi
My build 858 seems to have thrown a wobbler this am and recorded 1458.6mm of rain on startup.
So what exactly do I need to do to correct to records and re-set the total amounts?
In the simplest terms please.
(Running it on an XP laptop)

Yes, quite agree. Maybe you could contact them, on a developer level?steve wrote:I guess that's a reply for a 'user' rather than a 'developer'. But the implication is that it should work.

Re: Uploads to Weather Underground
Well I got a reply; Unfortunately we don't have specific directions on how to do this for the various software/hardware combinations that are used on our site, but if you have a datalogger, it should be possible. You probably need to change a setting in your software configurations. A typically usef...

No problem to an electric hover mower, mine hovers over water just as well as over the grass.steve wrote:

Re: Uploads to Weather Underground
so that means that he has it running 24/7 or This one. But if they reply and say it should be possible, then I'll do some more experimenting. Of course, if it's possible, then the easiest way to do it would be to upload it while downloading and processing each record, which will slow down the start...

Re: Uploads to Weather Underground
Hi Steve I think this is the link to Ray's Wunderground PWS site. http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.asp?ID=ISTOCKPO4&month=8&day=22&year=2009 If you look at the previous days, there are no breaks; so that means that he has it running 24/7 or it is possible to load...
