Re: Sending to PWS Software site doesn't...
That figures, after all the time of seeing a problem here, it now shows up. Maybe I should have asked this question earlier?

Re: How does Cumulus come up with these forecasts?
Are you getting "Exceptional weather" that? If so, have you looked in the FAQ? http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#My_forecast_always_says_.22Exceptional_Weather.2C_Stormy.2C_much_precipitation.22 No, not exceptional weather, just "Stormy with much precipitation". Maybe for this co...

Re: Sending to PWS Software site doesn't...
That's a bugreport.txt file, not a debug.log file. The crashes in there are something to do with the 'are you sure' window that optionally appears when you close Cumulus down. I'm not sure why it happened, but it's from a while ago, and nothing to do with your PWS update issue. Sorry about that, :o...

Okay, here it is. I sure can't figure it out, but then I don't know what I am looking at.steve wrote:If you turn on the debug log, the debug.log file will show the uploads to PWS and any error code/message returned.

Re: How does Cumulus come up with these forecasts?
Compred to other sources your Pressure seems a bit low. Have you set your relative (sea level) correctly ? ATM you have 29.15 inHg, 'the web' says 30.15 inHg Okay, now I have to publicly display my total ignorance. Where do I make this adjustment? I have been looking through the different configura...

Sending to PWS Software site doesn't...
I have my PWS all set up as far as I can tell with PWS Weather (http://www.pwsweather.com), but it doesn't update the information to them. I have the PWS ticked in my Internet Configuration along with the Station ID and Password and Interval. However the PWS site never gets updated. Any idea what I ...

How does Cumulus come up with these forecasts?
I have been noticing that the forecast images sure don't match up with the weather in my area. Like tonight, it is forecasting "Stormy with much precipitation". Not a chance of it! It was very dry here with a temperature of 84 today and will be about 82 tomorrow and dry. Not a chance of an...

Re: What is "Current:"?
I have changed the heading to "Last Observation Made", which I think is a better description since I cannot always update it in real time. Hopefully viewers of the web page will accept that it was 'Sunny', even if it is now night time etc. I like the last observation idea. I have been usi...

Re: Problem with duplicate entry
By 'duplicate', it means that you have two entries for a single day, not that they are necessarily exactly the same: So something went wrong on the 20th, causing two 'rollovers'. If you still have the diags files from then (it will depend on how many times you have restarted Cumulus since then) if ...

Problem with duplicate entry
I keep getting an error message saying " 2/28/2013 9:09:59 AM : Duplicate entry at line 52 of dayfile.txt: 20/02/13. Please correct this by editing the file ". I don't see any duplicates except for some entries with zeros in them, all of which are correct. What is the duplicate entry that ...

Re: What is "Current:"?
Thanks everyone. I now understand this and how it works. Except for one little thing and that is how can you add a text field prior to the <#currcond> field? Something like "Current Conditions: " and not have this displaying when there is nothing in the <#currcond> field?

See the attached graphic below to better explain what I am referring to. The spot I am referring to I have the comment "WHAT IS THIS FOR?" in it.

What is "Current:"?
I have been wondering what the input line in the lower right-hard corner if the Cumulus screen is for? It appears to be some sort of input line, but for what? Sorry for the dumb question, but I can't find the answer. Apparently I am doing the wrong search for the answer or it doesn't exist?

Re: How is snow recorded?
I would say you pretty much have it figured out.. I believe 1 inch of rain = 1 foot of snow, or very close to it anyway. So, going by that your .27" rain should = 3 ¼ inches of snow. Considering our temperatures were in the low to mid 30s once the snow started, it was a wet heavy snow. The tot...

How is snow recorded?
Okay, this may seem like a weird question coming from Tucson, AZ USA, but we had snow yesterday. Yes, you are reading that correctly, snow. I am guessing about 3" or so. When looking at my recorded measurements, I show .27" of rain today but the snow stopped before midnight, about 10:30 P....
