Catch Up
This morning I had a wireless, home network failure shortly after I restarted the computer this morning after being off during the night. Cumulus had been started and the "Catch Up" flashing indicator had just started when the failure occurred stopping the update to Wunderground. Any easy ...

Re: USB problem
I had one like that. I used a rubber band to hold it firmer in place until I got a new cable.

Re: Callibrating Humidty
Richard, it could be your station was recording accurately. Humidity can vary with location over very short distances, by elevation from the ground as well as its surroundings.

Re: Callibrating Humidty
I am curious. Did you do like a wet bulb test to check your weather station?ironeagleuk wrote:If I adjust my humidity by -6, will it ever get up to 99%?

Cumulus can even make you smile.
My son was over and started asking me about my weather station. Then he started asking question, like records, trends, and yesterdays tiny rain. Everything he asked, an answer was just a click away on Cumulus. He was very impressed.
I smiled a big smile.

Re: Station placement contradiction
jferristx, I too grow fruit trees here in South Ga. Our drought is getting bad too. Note Cumulus tracks chill hours.
I have citrus and apple trees. What are you growing?

Re: Station placement contradiction
I had my unit up higher and as already posted, my temperatures did not match up till I lowered it. I assume too your unit is over grass, not a solid surface like concrete.

Re: Chill Hours
Thank you for the information. I don't suppose you can tell me the value? We measure chill hours as time between 45 and 32 degrees F, and if chill hours start accumulating and then the temp goes back ABOVE 60 degrees F, chill hours are subtracted. I'll assume the formula for Cumulus is not that com...

Re: WS-1090 or WS-2080?
I have had the WS-2080 running Cumulus for just over a year now. The unit is a little short of being 75 feet away and goes through one wall so it should work for you.

Re: Frost pocket suspected.....
I assume you are at a lower elevation than the other airports and such. If you are lower cold air sinks. orchards after to be careful of planting in a low spot to prevent frost from damaging blooms in the spring as an example. Also make sure the elevation of your measuring device above ground confor...

Re: Rain 24 hours/Today (b.1013/14)
The rainfall in the "Last 24hrs" is new isn't it in the last couple of builds? I think it even moved up the display Rainfall list on the last build.
It could have been there all along and I just overlooked it all this time.
Anyway, I like it.
