Re: realtime.txt not updating (& Toolbox not knowing about i

I use web hosting provided by my isp at no extra cost but it has a 10 megabyte quota/limit. This has caught me out twice now with cumulus reporting ftp errors. Not a fault with cumulus but my fault. If you have do have a quota, it is worth checking out the cumulative size of all files you are hosting.

Re: Western Australia - Tropical Cyclone Bianca

And just after your WA fires too. Also Queensland is at risk from TC Anthony crossing the coast on Sunday, and a TC Yasi will probably develop from a tropical low near Fiji to a cat 5 and could hit Queensland later this week with 300Km/h+ winds. Lets hope they all peter out........ Story here: http:...

Has anyone tried improving the antenna used I think something like this could be used to increase the range of the transmitter with a small modification. http://www.simplesolutions-uk.com/products/antenna/433mhz-mhw-series-dipole-antenna-sma-79%E2%80%9D-cable This dipole is 166mm which seems a litt...

Re: Cracking morning out

Oh, and when we come back to the boathouse today, our smaller d-class was launched, to the aid of a pooch who had fallen down some cliffs into the sea, "Scooby" was rescued by 3 of our team, brought back to shore, taken to the vet, and apart from a cut above his eye, and brusing, was all ...

Re: Enhancement Request

You can process an extra 10 files using the ini hack Steve provided for, have a look in the cumulus.ini file and compare the existing settings that are there in the [FTP site] section with the above screen shot, that should give you an idea. Use that format to add extra files to process as per Steve...

Re: Enhancement Request

Steve, in a future build, would it be possible to add more entries to the "local file names" section of the Internet Settings page under Configurations? I have used all available lines now with my editing of web pages instead of using the standard web pages. Unless there is a better idea ...

Re: Heavy rain coming for northern NZ!

It certainly warmed up quick enough Ned. On another note, on your trends page you have out temp set to 3 hours but the thumbnail and most others are set to 24 hours. I know you can change all with GraphHours=nn in the ini file, but how did you achieve it just changing the temp without the others. I'...

Re: New Record? Post here.

We were seriously freaking out. We were all stiffed in the bathroom with pillows and what not assuming it was a tornado. I kept checking my weather data from my iPhone while we were in there and was amazed to see those speeds. It reached 85 at most at one point in time! I bet you were. You obviousl...

Re: Cumulus ftp

I have not had one single ftp error (apart from a couple of wunderground updates) since moving my hosted files and carefully monitoring my 10Mb quota.

Thanks once again for all help and suggestions. :D
