Re: Running two Fine offset stations on the same PC
if I did not unplug the second station it was more miss than hit as in it would swop the stations round so I found it was easier to do it that way. worked ok for me but it was an old laptop I was using so not sure if it has anything to do with it.

Re: Hosting by David Jamieson ending - new webhost required
I have been following the donation part of this topic with interest. The donation question has also been mentioned in other posts. Ray's point about flagging members which have donated sounds like a good idea. could this be done under the members ranking? I noticed sometime ago that Steve was saying...

Re: Yawcam Time Error
hi
open yawcam and then go to settings/edit settings
then go to overlay text
text 1 is the date and time setting and should look like this ( %DD-%MM-%YYYY, %hh:%mm:%ss ) you can change the format and it is explained if you select info.
hope this helps

Re: Downloading/running Cumulus
not sure if this might help but could you have hide files and folders set in the control panel?
to check open control panel then folder options select view and show hidden files, folders and drives.
just a thought no doubt Steve will help you sort things out.

Re: RG-11 input debounce
are you using the rg11 as an extra rain gauge or as a replacement to the tip bucket?
I fitted mine to my spare station which is used to monitor the greenhouse and fitted the resistor and capacitor inside the rg11. its connected to the via a 20 mtr cable and works ok.

Re: Help! Can't get my FO WH1091 going after battery change
just for further information. when changing the batteries in the transmitter wait until the red led has flashed then you will have about 48 seconds to swap the batteries. this can work most times and there is no need to reset the base station. if your batteries have died totally then this might not ...

you could check out usb to rj45 extenders
https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.p ... sb+to+rj45
I use one for a web cam without any problem.
there have been other posts about connecting wireless that might help shed some more light into problems

Re: Monthly Records Month Won't Change
you seem to be very particular about things. its not that long ago that you requested/demanded Steve to change your username I think about 3 times in a 2 week period. when Steve said no and other forum members tried to explain that it was not that easy you still insisted. there has been other issues...
